As you may remember, in spring of 2017 we initiated the yearly Academic Angels Campaign to support the continued growth of our school’s programs. Our vision is to provide academic programs better than other local options and within a faith-filled Catholic environment. We want to be “best in class” and back that with results. While we have done a lot in a few years, there is still more to do. Following is a list of needs, hopes and wishes that will keep Visitation competitive in the Elmhurst area and give your children the best we have to offer.
We are very grateful for your continued generosity and contributions of time, talent and treasure to our school and parish.
This spring we are again promoting 30-day funding campaign, Academic Angels: Awakening the Future 2019 and Beyond.
These additions total to approximately $150,000, which is this year’s AAC goal.
We need your help. Whether you can invest $250 or $25,000, any contribution gets us closer to realizing our goals.
While any contribution is welcome, we have three tiers of investment that come with special recognition for the family or in memory of a loved one.
Archangel Level $1,000 (Family name on plaque in school foyer)
Cherubim Level $5,000 (Family name on masonry brick in school foyer)
Seraphim Level $25,000 (Family nameplate on designated classroom)
Our hope is to make these improvements for the 2019-20 school year, so time is of the essence. Please prayerfully commit to participating at some level during the pledge period (May 16 -June 16) via the e-giving link on parish website https://giving.ncsservices.org/App/Giving/visitationegiving (select Academic Angels Campaign in the drop down “fund” menu) or by check.
As is our practice, we will keep you informed of our progress.
With grateful thanks,
Carrie Mijal, Principal
Fr. Greg Skowron, Pastor

Thanks to previous donors, these are just a few pictures of the many wonderful things we were able to accomplish: a playground for our Primary students, renovated Kindergarten classrooms, renovated Art room, 1:1 devices for grades 6th-8th, and the Stemscopes Science curriculum.
