Dear Parents,

Yesterday was a very monumental day in our parish with the groundbreaking for the beginning of the "Building the Family of Faith Campaign".  This summer we will have construction within our school which nullifies our usual summer tutoring programs in the primary wing.  Ms. Roberts will have her summer camp program in early June and Mrs. McMurray will instruct her new band students in Room 121.

Saturday, May 1st our Second Grade students will receive the sacrament of Holy Eucharist from Bishop Joseph Siegel at 9:30 A.M.

We have six Jr. High students representing Vis in Champaign at the Illinois State Science Fair on May 7th and 8th.  Congratulations to them for this meritorious achievement.

On May 11th we have the CCW Mass and luncheon followed by the Jr. High Spring Concert/Band in the Valentino Center at 7PM.

The annual Annie Ryan Fun Run this year is on Sunday, may 18th at 9AM.  We hope to increase our number of runners this year and help to further the study and need for research of brain tumors.

The Class of 2010 will have their graduation mass on May 24th at 9:30 am followed by the breakfast in the Valentino Center.  Bishop Joseph Siegel will officiate at our graduation ceremony in Visitation Church at 7PM on May 25th.

June 2nd is Record Day, June 3rd we will attend the 8:15 mass in church and return to school for evaluation, school is dismissed at 9:30AM
