The Campbell Soup Label Contest started last Monday.  I have spoken to all of the students and reminded them of how to count the UPC codes, and what items are allowed in the contest.  I told them to keep that GREEN SHEET at their finger tips because it is valuable when knowing what to cut and how to cut it.  It was much simpler when we just used the front label of the can of soup, but every thing progresses in society.  We can not stop it.

The students are doing well in Library.  The preschool through 3rd graders are still enjoying their story hours.  It is a mixture of fairy tales, folk tales, legends and simple fiction.

The fifth and sixth graders will be back to doing the accelerated reader program.  I was doing a little editing, and I deleted the students from the program.  It was just a little error.  Let us call it a learning experience.

The 7th and 8th grade students continue to check their books our independently.  We are having a very good year.
