There is a lot of new technology being used in our school building this year.

First of all, before school let out for the summer the teachers had a meeting about the new SMART Boards that are being used in a lot of schools.  They were all very excited about this new way of teaching.  So, the school has purchased 4 SMART Boards to start out the school year.  There is one in the science lab, one in the LRC, one in the intermediate wing and one in the primary wing.  For now the teacher will have to share, and all are excited to use the new technology.

Last year the Father's club helped us purchase computer projectors that the teachers are also using.  We now have one per grade (1 - 8).  This is making learning a lot more fun.  The teachers can use video and INTERNET sites to enhance the learning process.

Computer classes will start later this month.  We have a of behind the scenes technology going on in the school as well. Computerized grading systems and a student information system are being worked on.
