1ST GRADE NEWS

Vis First Grade is up and rolling! We have adjusted to the full day of school, and to homework. WOW! We have adjusted to lunch time at school, and to recess. That was easy. We have adjusted to a fast-paced school day, packed with learning. The children deserve a round of applause!
October will be an awesome month. In religion, we will be learning about participating in the Mass. In early November, the children will attend Mass with the Visitation student body. Social Studies will focus on the lives of Native Americans. In Science, we'll be taking a close look at plant life. The ever-popular First Grade/Fifth Grade Partner Program will begin. We're kicking it all off with the Walkathon. To top all that off, we're counting on loads of Halloween fun, as well!
So, we will keep on rolling through our days and weeks of first grade. It is our hope that each day will bring enriching and enjoyable experiences to our students. When November finally rolls around, we look forward to talking with our first grade parents at conference time. Until then, we value our many happy days together.
