FOREIGN LANGUAGE
JUNIOR HIGH SPANISH
Spanish is taught three days per week in 7th and 8th grade. The curriculum is the year one high school Spanish course, which is taught over these two years. Most students will place into year two Spanish as freshman in high school.
GRADE 3-6 SPANISH
Beginning in the 2016-17 school year, students in grades 3-6 will have Spanish language instruction once a week. Instruction will be provided by an outside vendor, Language Stars. Each class will be 45 minutes long.
GRADE K-2 SPANISH AT LUNCH OPTION
For a fee, students in grades K-2 can take a Spanish class at lunchtime either once or twice per week. This class is offered by Language Stars. Classes are held in the school library. Workbooks are provided to participants. Information about this optional program and how to register will be provided in August and early September.
